The surrounding area of the hotel is full of tourist sights, restaurants, bars, cafés, shops, museums, etc.

These rooms area ideal for budget travelers and groups.

On request, we can arrange laundry and dry cleaning. There is a central safety deposit box at the front desk, where guests can store their valuables. Also at the front desk, we have Czech souvenirs and small gifts on sale. Luggage can be stored in the luggage room for those who arrive before check-in or wish to depart after check-out.
Our restaurant resembles the famous restaurant of the Titanic and the world-famous Parisian Maxim's Restaurant's Art-Nouveau interior. Our chef has prepared a special menu containing Czech, French and international cuisine. Enjoy your meal in an authentic atmosphere with the original ornate wood paneling of precious mahogany wood, a marble fireplace with an old clock and a glass-ceiling which used to function as an air-conditioning system, along with the artificial rain. At sunset, the incoming light reflects directly on the glass-painting positioned above the fireplace (it displays a panorama of Hradcany). The restaurant has direct access to the luxury Lounge, which formerly served as a special venue for private events and weddings. Nowadays, it can be reserved for private dining and small business meetings.
Enjoy selected teas, coffee, cognac, liquors and special desserts in the Café Evropa. The café-bar has a Gothic-Renaissance style interior with painted stained glass above the entrance, a wooden bar and original baroque-rococo furniture. In addition, there are two Chinese vases and two porcelain Pharaoh Sphinxes to marvel.
Traditional Czech Restaurant
An original old Czech restaurant with wood paneling and hand-painted walls is located in the basement of Hotel Evropa. In addition to both modern and traditional Czech meals, you can also enjoy home-made Czech beer.
History of Hotel Evropa
History of the hotel dates back to 1889m, when it opened its doors to the public under the name of "U Arcivévody Štěpána" - At Archduke Stephan. Under the supervision of the well-known architects of that time, Bedřich Bendelmayer and Alois Dryák, the hotel was re-constructed in Art Noveau style. Bohumil Hübschman, Jan Letzel or Ladislav Šaloun also participated in the re-construction process. Since then, Hotel Evropa has become one of the most valuable architectural landmark of Prague, and served as a venue for many famous films, including "Mission Impossible " with Tom Cruise.
